About Us
IT Igniters’s origins lie in Riverside Computers, a professional computer services and support firm founded in 2002 by Chuck Berg. Chuck is a veteran business owner with over 32 years of IT industry experience and although not an IT technician, he is a small business expert who has previously started, grown and sold 3 successful businesses. As such, Chuck understands what it takes to grow a small business and what is important to an entrepreneur. Quite simply, he knows small businesses inside out and he knows how to communicate effectively with their owners and managers.
IT Igniters evolved from Riverside Computers and we feel the change of name better reflects our more forward thinking approach to business technology. Instead of merely offering a traditional break/fix business model, we are proactively helping small and medium-sized businesses in the Minnesota area grow and reach new customers and exciting opportunities through advanced IT solutions.
While in the US Navy, Chuck attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he majored in Business and Engineering Technology. His business and marketing education, along with his experience, enable him to provide valuable recommendations for using today’s technology to meet a company’s needs. Chuck has also developed several applications, taught classes, worked extensively with networks and the Internet, and has designed and planned business automation systems.
Chuck is also very community oriented and is a member of Rotary, having served as his club’s president and then as the District Governor for most of the state of Minnesota. He is also currently serving his third term on the School Board including a 2 year stint as the Chairman. And as if that doesn’t keep him busy enough, Chuck is also the Vice-Chair of Shakopee Chamber of Commerce, of which IT Igniters is an active member.
Community Matters
IT Igniters is proud to be a big part of our community and is an active member of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce and Rotary.
